Jonathan Braverman concentrates his
practice in the areas of business and
commercial litigation, complex civil
litigation, shareholder disputes, banking
litigation, employment law, environmental law and litigation,
consumer protection, defense of insured
and self-insured property damage, contract disputes,
construction litigation, real estate
disputes, and general civil litigation.
Mr. Braverman regularly practices before
federal and state administrative agencies
such as the U.S. Occupational Safety
and Health Administration, the Massachusetts Department of
Environmental Protection, the Massachusetts
Commission Against Discrimination, the Equal
Employment Opportunity Commission, and
the Department of Employment and Training.
With over 24 years of experience representing
home inspectors and home inspection companies
in courts at every level throughout the
Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Mr. Braverman
has successfully defended numerous cases
against home inspectors to a verdict
in both jury and jury waived forums.
Mr. Braverman's experience includes
many successful trials before judges
and juries in the District and Superior
Courts of Massachusetts as well as the
U.S. District Court. Mr. Braverman
has also successfully represented clients
in arguments before the Massachusetts
Appeals Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals,
as well as before the U.S. Bankruptcy
Court in Massachusetts and other jurisdictions.
As part of his litigation practice,
Mr. Braverman has actively promoted and
represented parties in arbitration, mediation
and other forms of alternative dispute
resolution.
Mr. Braverman has presented lectures
and educational programs focusing upon
employment discrimination, liability
issues for professional home inspectors,
professional ethics and automobile insurance
law.
Mr. Braverman received his Juris Doctorate
from New England School of Law in 1980
and is admitted to practice before the
Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts,
the U.S. District Court for the District
of Massachusetts, the U.S. Court of Appeals,
First Circuit and the Supreme Court of
the United States.
