With over 20 years of trial experience,
Mr. Barbadoro concentrates in the areas
of contract disputes, real estate litigation,
criminal defense, personal injury law
and probate litigation.
Prior to obtaining his law degree, Mr.
Barbadoro served as a special prosecutor
for the Norfolk County District Attorney's
Office. He thereafter received
an appointment as an Assistant District
Attorney in Norfolk County, where he
prosecuted hundreds of felony and misdemeanor
cases.
After obtaining his Juris Doctorate, cum
laude , from Suffolk University Law School,
Mr. Barbadoro was appointed to serve
as legal counsel to the City of Quincy
where he represented the municipality
in the defense of civil actions in
District, Superior and Federal Courts.
Mr. Barbadoro devotes his practice to
litigation, representing clients in real estate litigation in
Superior Court, Land Court and the Housing Appeals Committee, and
defending and prosecuting claims in commercial and
contract law and representing both profit
and non-profit organizations before the
Appellate Tax Board. Mr. Barbadoro also represents
individuals in personal injury claims, criminal defense and probate
and family law matters.
Mr. Barbadoro is an active member of
several associations, including the Quincy
Bar Association, of which he is a past
president. He is a member of the
Norfolk County Bar Association, Massachusetts Academy of Trial Lawyers
Association and has been appointed as
a conciliator for civil matters in a
number of courts. Mr. Barbadoro
has served as a moot court judge for
Suffolk University Law School and the American University of
Washington College of Law and has
lectured at several colleges and law
schools as well as for Massachusetts
Continuing Legal Education in the areas
of business law, civil procedure and
trial advocacy. Mr. Barbadoro
has also taught as an adjunct professor
at Quincy College, where he has instructed
on litigation and procedure.
