Commitment to Community
We believe that community involvement
is not only an ethical obligation but
one that is essential to our standing
as full service firm. In addition
to smaller organizations and activities
in which our staff participates, the
firm has maintained its commitment to
financially support various charities with
our time and expertise.
Warren
Baker served on the Marshfield Zoning
Board of Appeals for over 18 years. He
also serves as the chairman of the Board
of Overseers (Selectmen) for the Bustins
Island Village Corporation. Mr.
Baker serves as secretary and as a member
of the Board of Directors of the Sean
McDonough Charitable Foundation, which is organized to serve the needs of children. As
general counsel and volunteer, Mr. Baker
continues his long association with the
South Shore YMCA. He is privileged
to serve as counsel to or a board member
of a number of other charitable organizations. Mr.
Baker can be heard on radio at WCRN 630
discussing tax and elder law planning
issues.
Christopher Sullivan has served on the Norfolk Probate and Family
Court Bench Bar Committee for a number of years and continues to
serve as its chairman. He also administers the Volunteer
Lawyer For A Day program at Norfolk Probate and Family Court and
volunteers at various probate courts throughout the Commonwealth.
Mr. Sullivan serves on the corporate council and is the New England
planned giving advocate for the Juvenile Diabetes Research
Foundation. He donates his time and legal expertise in elder
law at the Hanover Council on Aging and presents seminars at senior
centers in conjunction with the National Academy of Elder Law
Attorneys.
The attorneys and staff at Baker, Braverman & Barbadoro, P.C.
contribute to charitable organizations giving their time and
assistance and by participating in fundraising events. In the
past few years, we raised thousands of dollars for the American
Diabetes Association and rode in their Marshfield Tour de Cure,
played team volleyball for the Easter Seals and walked for
organizations such as the March of Dimes and Juvenile Diabetes
Research Foundation. Attorneys also give their time to
non-profit organizations such as the YMCA and Jewish Community
Centers.
